Preschool has adapted its way of working to the COVID-19 situation. The government guidance, together with PHE are informing the changes to procedures. If you have any symptoms please self-isolate and get a test as advised at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/
Our Pre-school offers education and care for children from two years to school age. Children attend from two to ten sessions per week. Children will be able to spend up to two and a half years in Preschool before starting full-time school. Often they attend between two and five sessions in the first year and five sessions in the second year. The session times are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Some children attend for full days, but we prioritise the places for the oldest children. Talk to us about how this might work for you.A full day runs from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
The Key Person system enables us to offer appropriate play activities with adult input tailored to the needs of the individual child. We offer a curriculum based upon the Early Years Foundation Stage document used by all schools and Early Years settings. This prepares children to continue their Foundation Stage education in a school reception class.
