At the end of our Sunday morning services, anyone who wishes is welcome to receive ministry from our Prayer Ministry team for any personal prayer requests.
An area at the front of the church is set aside for this. We give thanks to God for His blessing upon those who have come forward for prayer.
"Always be joyful. Keep on Praying." -1 Thessalonians 5:16
As Christians, we believe prayer is important in our own daily lives and in the life of Moreton Baptist Church. Prayer is communicating with God. We praise and thank Him, we also ask Him for His presence and power, for His forgiveness and for His help, for ourselves and for others. We believe that God answers prayer and changes situations we bring to Him for good.
If you are reading this and do not attend Moreton Baptist Church but feel you would like prayer, you are very welcome to attend any Sunday Morning Service at 10.30am - the Prayer Ministry team would welcome the opportunity to pray for you after the service. Please just come forward to the centre seats at the front of the church as the service ends.
Prayer Ministry has been and is valued by many, and we are grateful to God for hearing and answering our prayers. Specific needs may be prayed for, but a request need not be voiced: we pray for the touch of Jesus to answer our spoken and unspoken or even unrecognised needs.
The Prayer Ministry team commits to prayer for all who come, whether it be on one or on many occasions. Members of the Prayer Ministry team also pray with one another and seek more of the presence of Jesus in their own lives.
